GLOBAL: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) hosted the 41st council meeting of the IFSB on the 15th December 2022, presided over by the governor of SBP, Jameel Ahmad, who is also the chairman of the IFSB council for 2022. During this meeting, the council held discussions and made various strategic and policy level decisions for IFSB.
The SBP also hosted the 15th IFSB public lecture session on SDGs and Islamic finance philosophy, as well as the IFSB members and industry engagement session.
