MALAYSIA: Bursa Malaysia has launched the second guidebook in its series of five guidebooks for publicly listed companies (PLCs) titled ‘Sustainable, Socially Responsible and Ethical PLCs’, a statement confirmed. While not mandatory, the guidebooks seek to promote ESG best practices for companies listed on the exchange, of which roughly 79% are Shariah compliant.
