MALAYSIA: Oil and gas service and equipment company Uzma, through its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Uzma Kuala Muda, has secured syndicated Islamic financing facilities of up to RM225 million (US$48.47 million) from Affin Islamic Bank and Export-Import Bank of Malaysia, a bourse filing confirmed.
The facilities are to facilitate the construction, operation and maintenance of a 50 MWac large-scale solar photovoltaic plant in the state of Kedah.
