MALAYSIA: The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has launched the Sustainable and Responsible Investment linked (SRI-linked) Sukuk Framework to facilitate companies’ transition to net zero, a statement confirmed. An extension of the SC’s initiatives under its SRI Roadmap introduced in 2019, the new framework will facilitate fundraising by companies in addressing sustainability concerns with features relating to the issuer’s sustainability performance commitments.
