INDONESIA: Sarana Multigriya Finansial has issued a social Sukuk facility worth IDR200 billion (US$12.85 million) on the 22nd December 2023, according to a press release. The funds raised through this issuance will be used to finance housing and settlement activities in Indonesia to increase homeownership and the availability of affordable housing projects for low-income earners.
Asian Development Bank provided technical assistance for the issuance.
