MALAYSIA: On the 27th and 28th September 2022, REDmoney Group organized two events in Kuala Lumpur to great success, welcoming over 700 Islamic finance and sustainable finance professionals over the two-day period.
Over 350 delegates participated in IFN Asia Forum 2022, the region’s leading Islamic finance gathering, at the EQ Kuala Lumpur on the 27th September. Through five high-level panel discussions, a variety of topics were explored including the state of Islamic finance in the region, the growth of alternative Islamic funding channels, innovation within the Islamic capital markets, the evolution of Shariah compliant digital financial services in Southeast Asia and Islamic social finance.
The Islamic Sustainable Finance and Investment Forum on the 28th September welcomed more than 380 professionals to the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC). Co-hosted by Capital Markets Malaysia, the conference was opened by SC Chairman Dr Awang Adek Hussin who delivered a keynote address. Five panel discussions were held while HSBC Amanah and Bursa Malaysia delivered a presentation each.
