QATAR: Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) has developed a sustainable Sukuk and bonds framework based on the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA)’s Green Bond Principles, Social Bond Principles and Sustainable Bond Guidelines, a statement confirmed.
Dubbed as the first in the GCC region, the framework integrates local requirements and features with ICMA’s globally accepted principles to create a harmonized financial market ecosystem locally, based on international standards.
