MALAYSIA: Principal Malaysia has launched the Principal Islamic Global Responsible Equity Fund, a feeder fund with the previously launched Islamic Global Responsible Equity Fund as the target fund, that is suitable for investors seeking exposure to Shariah compliant global equities with an investment horizon of at least five years, according to an official statement.
The fund invests in diversified Shariah compliant equities that demonstrate positive fundamental change at attractive relative valuations and aims for its portfolio’s aggregate carbon risk level to be 15% lower than the benchmark index.
