INDONESIA: Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) or the State Electricity Company of Indonesia has signed a syndication agreement with four national banks and obtained a bilateral loan facility from Sarana Multi Infrastruktur worth IDR12 trillion (US$772.22 million) in total which includes a Shariah compliant component, according to a LinkedIn post by PLN’s president director, Darmawan Prasodjo. The green financing underscores PLN’s commitment to energy transition initiatives.
