PAKISTAN: Financial institutions in Pakistan, including Islamic banks, have disbursed a total of PKR1.78 trillion (US$6.18 billion) in agricultural financing during FY 2023 ended the 30th June 2023, the State Bank of Pakistan said in a statement.
The amount is a new record, and reflects a growth of over 25% when compared with the PKR1.42 trillion (US$4.93 billion) disbursed during FY 2022.
