OJK outlines 2022 priorities

INDONESIA: Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) has set five priority policies in 2022, read a statement. They are: provide joint incentives to encourage financing to the priority commodity sector; encourage the consolidation of the financial services sector, form credit write-off reserves, restructure the mutual fund industry and strengthen the governance of the investment management industry; develop a sustainable financing scheme, with a priority of developing a green economy including setting up a carbon market; improving MSME financing access to achieve a 30% total market share target by 2024 including by enhancing micro Waqf banks; and strengthen the digital transformation of the financial sector.
