MALAYSIA: Maybank has launched an integrated automobile financing solution for electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid customers, according to a press statement. The solution covers financing solutions, insurance and Takaful as well as EV charging privileges. Maybank Islamic on the other hand has installed EV charging stations in three locations with a view of installing several more within the Klang Valley and other states in peninsular Malaysia by December 2024.
These initiatives are in line with Maybank Group’s sustainability commitment of mobilizing RM80 billion (US$17.76 billion) in sustainable financing and achieving a carbon-neutral position.
