PAKISTAN: Agha Steel Industries, a steel manufacturing company in Pakistan, is currently looking into a green Sukuk issuance, Ahmed Ateeq, deputy CEO of the company, told IFN.
The Islamic paper would be the first green Sukuk issued for the steel sector, and will adhere to the International Finance Corporation’s green bond framework.
