GLOBAL: The Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC) has signed four agreements including two MoUs, separate statements confirmed. It signed the MoUs with Export Bahrain and Elsewedy Electric. The ICIEC–Elsewedy MoU provides a framework for joint action in promoting climate action and water projects.
Additionally, the ICIEC signed a framework agreement with the Arab Republic of Egypt and two partners of the Arab–Africa Trade Bridges program to increase economic integration and support sustainable growth in all Arab and African countries.
An insurance policy was also signed with Tabarak investment Capital to provide greater insurance coverage for the export and import of Shariah compliant goods and services, Thinkers reported.
