GLOBAL: The IsDB Group has approved a US$10.54 billion package for the Food Security Response Program to address the global food security crisis in its member countries, a statement confirmed. The primary focus of the program is to develop innovative interventions to address structural weaknesses and root causes of food insecurity in member countries.
The total approved package comprises contributions from the IsDB, the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation, the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector, the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development and the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit.
