GLOBAL: IsDB President and Group Chairman Dr Muhammad Al Jasser has met with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva to strengthen the partnership between the two entities in the areas of Islamic finance as well as climate and green transition, according to an official statement.
Topics discussed include the expansion of the IsDB’s engagement with the IMF on the Financial Sector Assessment Program as well as deepening the partnership of both institutions on climate action supported by the Resilience & Sustainability Trust, a US$50 billion trust fund established by the IMF in 2022.
