INDONESIA: Deputy Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara has said that the Indonesian government has begun to consider building infrastructure in a greener way and is tracking green activities within the inter-ministerial budget.
“We completed green budget tagging for our budget since 2016. Some projects are used as the basis in green bonds and some of them are in green Sukuk bonds. It is very important for the government of Indonesia to continue to do this so that green bonds, green Sukuk bonds can continue to be intertwined by underpinning good projects in Indonesia,” said Suahasil in a statement.
