QATAR: Gulf Organisation for Research and Development has signed an agreement with Masraf Al Rayan to invest in the latter’s Shariah compliant Green Deposit program, according to an official statement. The Green Deposit program is an alternative investment product for Qatari riyal deposits and other major currencies in Qatar that allows Masraf Al Rayan’s customers to invest in deposits that are designated to finance green projects.
