GLOBAL: Governance is the most significant environmental, social and governance (ESG) factor affecting corporate credit ratings, said Fitch Ratings. According to the rating agency’s new report titled ‘Where ESG Matters in Corporate Ratings’, governance risks need to be managed by corporate issuers to maintain credit quality, reflected in a minimum ESG Relevance Score for governance issues of ‘3′.
