JORDAN: Future Sun Renewable Energy Systems has signed a financing agreement with Safwa Islamic Bank worth JOD70 million (US$98.73 million), to fund a 100 MW solar power project aimed at industrial enterprises, Jordan News Agency reported.
The 18-month project will see Future Sun sourcing and installing solar power systems for 84 enterprises that are also the company’s shareholders, and is expected to cut electricity costs by JOD15 million (US$21.16 million).
