MALAYSIA: A carbon project in Sabah, Malaysia is currently undergoing verification under Verra, a US-based carbon credit standards body, which is expected to result in the first issuance of Malaysian carbon credits by the end of the year, said Dr Chen Wei Nee, the head of carbon markets at Bursa Malaysia, reported The Asset.
