EGYPT: Mohamed Farid, the head of Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority, and Rami El-Dokany, the chairman of the Egyptian Exchange, have confirmed the imminent launch of a sustainable Sukuk paper and a Shariah compliant index in the country as key initiatives to attract foreign investments.
According to a press release, the statements were made during a workshop hosted by financial services company GTN Group.
