INDONESIA: Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) has introduced a warehouse receipt subsidy scheme in the Aceh province targeting the agricultural and MSME sectors, allowing farmers to obtain financing backed by warehouse receipts as collateral. BSI Director of Retail Banking Ngatari said in a statement that the bank has received approval for a IDR10 billion (US$656,858) warehouse receipt financing quota.
