MALAYSIA: Alliance Bank Malaysia has partnered with Sedania Innovator’s sustainable energy arm, Sedania Technologies, to launch a fully-funded program to help SMEs become energy sustainable organizations, reported The Star. Sedania would bear the cost of initial outlays and provide advice to eligible Alliance Bank and Alliance Islamic Bank SME customers on office or building upgrades, including energy-efficient smart air-conditioning, smart controllers and lighting solutions.
Sedania will also provide free maintenance and repair services as well as complimentary energy monitoring systems which will enable SME clients to monitor their energy consumption and provide the necessary data for their sustainability reporting. In addition, through the Energy Performance Contract, Alliance Bank and Alliance Islamic Bank SME customers will receive a certified report card on its energy efficiency level without any payment.
