GUINEA: The African Development Bank has approved a US$66.39 million support package for Guinea to fund the Guinea Power Access Improvement Project, a statement confirmed. The project is co-financed by the IsDB. The support package consists of a US$4.17 million grant and a US$9.37 million loan from the African Development Fund and a US$24.13 million grant and a US$28.72 million loan from the Transition Support Facility.
There will be an estimated 100,000 direct beneficiaries of the project composed of individual households, women’s associations, health centers, schools and businesses.
