GLOBAL: The Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development has granted US$7 million to support the education project for Syrian refugees in a number of neighboring host countries, a statement read.
The project is aimed at addressing the basic need for education among Syrian refugees, especially children and persons with special needs, and to mitigate the consequences of the displacement due to the Syrian crisis. Several phases of this program have been implemented with different partners in a number of countries hosting Syrian refugees. The Society for Humanitarian Excellence is the implementing partner in three countries namely Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey.
