MALAYSIA: Solarpack Suria Sungai Petani has on the 6th April 2023 issued a green Sukuk facility in 38 tranches worth RM285 million (US$64.74 million) in total, according to separate Bond and Sukuk Information Exchange filings with coupon rates ranging from 4.4% to 5.78% and tenors ranging from one year to 19.5 years.
ISFI previously reported that this issuance is part of Solarpack’s ASEAN Green SRI Sukuk Wakalah program worth up to RM305 million (US$69.28 million). RAM Ratings assigned the program a final rating of ‘AA2/Stable’.
