MALAYSIA: Al Rajhi Banking & Investment Corporation, Affin Bank, Bank Muamalat and RHB Banking Group have offered a deferment of payments to their customers affected by the floods in the Southern Region, according to separate statements. Notably, Bank Muamalat is allowing its affected customers to replace their debit and credit cards without any payments and RHB is providing flood financing facilities of up to RM700,000 (US$156,255) for a tenor of seven years at a preferential rate.
Malaysia Takaful Association (MTA) also launched the Takaful-4-All campaign, which includes expediting flood victims’ claims.
