GLOBAL: The chairman of the IsDB Group, Dr Muhammad Al Jasser, has held a bilateral meeting with the president of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Dr Tony Chan, on the sidelines of the Global Sustainable Development Congress to discuss enhancing the strategic partnership between the two institutions to leverage KAUST’s expertise in creating innovative and sustainable solutions that address economic resilience, green economy transition and current digital challenges, a press statement read.
Dr Muhammad also met with PATH Chief of Asia, Middle East and Europe Region Dr Nabeel Goheer, as they look forward to enhancing the bilateral synergy between the two institutions through cofinancing and knowledge-sharing.
Moreover, Dr Muhammad during a meeting with Dr Rita Columbia, the UN resident coordinator in Saudi Arabia, also discussed enhancing cooperation with the UN system to mainstreaming the SDGs into the IsDB’s programs and operations.
